Since we have begun to sell Android tablets, one of the biggest questions we receive is how to connect them to a wireless network. In answer to this we have decided to write a how to on it. There is also a video. You are quite welcome to use whichever you feel more comfortable with.
Getting to the Settings
The first thing we need to do is open up the tablet. By the way, we are using the 9″ Android tablet that we happen to have in stock. To open the tablet, just slide your finger from the middle to the right to the picture of the open lock.
Now it’s time to find the WiFi settings. What you want to do press the settings button. This is the third icon from the left and the bottom of the screen.
Now the setting menu pops up on the right side of the screen. The next step is to press the bottom button, like in the picture above us. This opens the settings screen as pictured below.
Here We Connect
At the very top of the setting screen will be the wireless settings. Press the WiFi button to turn it on and then all of the wireless networks within range will pop up on the right side of the screen. It’s time to pick your network. Once you do this a box will come up with a telling you a little about the network and probably asking for a password.
When you input your password the connect button at the bottom right of the screen will be enabled. Press the connect button. If you have put your password in correctly you will now be….CONNECTED!!
